You explain the difference between Gandalf and Harry potter very well. I hadn't thought about that subtle difference before.

So yes, I see why some Christians see that Harry's form of magic could be considered obtainable and therefore be more cautious about it, rather than Gandalf, who is not of this world and 'naturally' talented that way.
