You raise some good points here, Manab. I've settled into almost the same routine as you. I read only stories that are less then 5 minutes long. I feel rude if I spend more than that on one writer's work when I could be supporting two.

I, too, am a writer and need to write. But I'm a writer within a community of other writers and most of us are here because we need some level of income.

Our income comes from engagement as well as writing.

So, on that note, I've read this story, clapped and highlighted, but I'll save your long story to my Read Later list. (Great title, btw).
